Anyone know about the status of Power on Ormond Village Drive? As of 8/31, Power seems to still be out. I am still out of town, would like to come back.
Power is still out in the 300 block of Balboa Dr in Coronado park. Their is a pole that runs behind the homes of Balboa and Sana Cruz that needs service. The pole is directly behind 315 Balboa Dr. You can see that its disconnected at the transfomer, all the rest of the poles are connected
Oakland Estates in St. Rose is still out with sewage pouring down the street. The gentleman from the Waste Water Dept. said he was told Oakland & Fairfield would be without power for several more days.
East Oakland and West Oakland do NOT have sewer problems! We need our electricity restored, been out since Tuesday 6:45 pm. We are not having sewer water pouring out in the street, that is wrong information... I have driven on East Oakland and West Oakland -- no water pouring sewer... We need Entergy workers to do their job.
I hate to break it to you, but I live on West Oakland and 2 of my neighbors had sewage gushing down their driveways into the street. The parish sent the wastewater dept. to pump out the lift station only after a worker went to one of the houses and saw the sewage for himself. I was out there while they were working on the situation. If you don't believe me, knock on the door of the guy who lives next to the lift station. He was out there with me.
VJ St. Pierre told us we would have power restored to Destrehan YESTERDAY. There are NO trucks to be seen in the area. What is taking so long???? And why are we given such little information????????
I was told that we had Mandatory Evacuation in St Charles Parish because of the Power Outages. Well, we have to work to pay for all of the gas to keep our generators on only to keep our refrigerators and freezers going. And for those who don't have natural gas, have to eat out. So for all of those who have kept their power on or got it restored immediately, think of all the $ you have saved. I'm sure I can speak for many, but not sleeping much for the last 5 days has also giving us attitudes. So, please do more and stop making excuses. Entergy is NOT doing a good job!
The parish does not call mandatory evacuations for power outages. We called a mandatory evacuation for possibility of flooding devastation and loss of all emergency services, water service, power, etc. All those factors went into it.
No power in the 200 block of Dunleith, but a crew is out clearing the downed tree that caused or contributed to the outage as we speak, so maybe there's an end in sight.
