Jesuit vs. Hahnville cancelled due to threat of Tropical Storm Isaac

The threat posed by Tropical Storm Isaac's move into the Gulf of Mexico has resulted in Jesuit and Hahnville cancelling their Thursday night high school football season opener.The game was scheduled for 7 p.m. at Hahnville.

Jesuit and Hahnville officials decided Sunday evening to cancel the game following a mandatory evacuation order issued by St. Charles Parish, Hahnville Coach and Athletic Director Lou Valdin said. There is no possibility of rescheduling the game, Valdin said.
