We are very concerned about residents coming into contact with downed power lines, which are all over the parish. Entergy is making repairs right now, but please do NOT touch or try to clean up around ANY downed powerlines!
There's a sagging power line (not a main line but apparently an insulated feed line) in my back yard (110 E. Oakland). It's not broken but is caught on my fence and almost touching the ground. It's a possible hazard to my wife, myself and my dogs. I had reported this to Entergy immediately after Gustav passed but have heard nothing from them so far. Is there any way to find out if this is on the agenda to be repaired? I'm aware there are very many people without power and this may be a low priority. I'm concerned that that the report may have been lost in the rush and confusion.
