I know many of you are concerned about your homes, I have been everywhere and there is little structural damage in the Parish with few exceptions. Power is coming on-line, but most of you will return to a home without power. Even when power is restored it's fragile and tends to go off-line. We are extremely busy and would appreciate your assistance by only calling us for critical needs. We are aware about all the power lines and trees that are down so there is no need to report that information to us. I have instructed my staff and our Public Information Officer to place as much information as possible on the internet, TV, Radio, 1370AM and via two calls per day to all of our residents who have signed up to receive information from our Alert System.
